I have been experimenting with floral closeups of late. My inner Georgia O'Keefe? A blessed Fifty Days of Easter to one and all. 

I made a special effort to get a shot of these last year. 

Camellias has fascinated me since I was an undergraduate at Pomona College. I remember they bloomed in January on the huge bushes by the admin bldg. 

Even the oxalis is glorious
