Early voting began about a week ago but only at the County Office; today the polls opened up around town. So about one hour after the polls opened, I went to my nearest one and voted with great joy. This afternoon I headed to the rally. What fun to meet so many people that I had voted for just hours earlier!

Very cool - it looks like such a positive event. A fresh breath compared to much of the current hateful spew.
It was very positive, Fran. They spoke of what they believe and want to accomplish, not what they fear or hate. The biggest contrasts (or as close as they got to negative) was noting that some opponents would like to take us back to the 19th century (not even the 20th), and that's not hateful, it's true. And noting the outside money pouring in to defeat Dems this time sround.
Ran in to Martin at breakfast in Albuquerque last week. He said that his kids would be glad when the election was over because he could let them watch TV again. What does that tell you about the ads in this election cycle?
