You're right. It ain't the Mississippi, but it's your little river. I'm learning to be a lot more tolerant of others' sense of place, and their places not being my place. Here in Missouri, folks love it and would not want to live anywhere else. That's a mystery to me, but I've learned to be accepting of their lifestyle choices.
