If I say any more about the Windsor Continuation Group and its recommendations I shall become uncivil.
With Grandmère Mimi, I place my hope in Jesus Christ and not in any institution. Certainly not the Church in any past, present, or future manifestation. (It would be idolatry and gross stupidity if I did.)
I'd better stop right here.

Don't stop on my account. As much as I love the Episcopal Church, nowhere in the scriptures does it say that TEC or the Anglican Communion is necessary for my salvation--nor obedience to the Pope of Rome. (Are you paying attention, Bennie?}
LOL. Thanks, Boocat. I didn't stop for you. I stopped for my own health, physical and spiritual. I don't need to get riled up and apoplectic. But I did flip off the AC a long time ago and have, for years, just wished this bloody divorce were over with. The schism has already happened and I'm tired of living amid denial.
I am trying very hard not to sink to the level of those who expect me to burn in hell and wouldn't blink if I were tortured or killed. And it is a very hard battle within myself.
