Nürnberg is also a reminder of the two USAs - the one that founded the UN, wrote the UN charter, collaborated on the Geneva Conventions, heaped Marshall aid on its former enemy, and so on...
And the other one, which raped nuns in Central America, re-invented torture, invaded Iraq, and so on...
