i am not at all sure mexico would take texas, nor that texas would want to go mexico, but remain independent....
on the other hand, when does the trial for state treason begin? perhaps we could send the guv'nor to gitmo for trying to incite revolution or something...
Old Dad shot off his mouth (or keyboard) too soon. Dillinger, my armadillo, is from Texas and takes exception to the opinion posted above.
He is named for John Dillinger and I call him my "killer 'diller," though I have yet to see him carry a violin case. Still, I note his protest here so I can sleep in peace tonight (and wake up tomorrow).
The views expressed on this blog are solely those of the blogger and do not represent the positions of any group or organization with which he may be affiliated. As one who spent decades stuffing down his opinions and emotions, I am inclined to cut loose here, which I believe is healthy, honest, and part of the process of sanctification in the long run. Politics and spirituality mingle freely here, along with theatre reviews, photography, and passionate talk about food, literature, and the human journey. If anything written here offends you, please find other blogs to read. I am here to share, not to do battle.

I think at this time of year Arizona is blowing into Texas via New Mexico. That should show 'em. Too bad that New Mexico is in the middle.
no you wouldn't
it would mean we'd lose Katie Sherrod to the Mexican Church
and IMHO at least the American needs people like Katie!

David, my only hesitation is that I like the people of Mexico. Katie, one of my heroes, would be fine.
