Mouth repairs

I had the prep work for my new crown done yesterday. Not a bad experience but today my tooth feels the trauma and I really want to crawl back in bed. We are not talking much pain at all, maybe 1 on the scale, maybe, but you know how distracting tooth pain can be, even just a tiny bit.

Anyway, after the dentist I stopped at Trader Joe's, did some shopping, and had a lovely dinner last night to treat myself.

But I did not blog.

Healing Eucharist at San Gabriel's tonight, which should be lovely.

Have a great day, y'all.

Ibuprofen. . .

Susie Sue, I should own stock in makers of ibuprofen. Always carry it with me and it does not appear to have much effect on my stomach. Yes, folks, I know to take it with lots of water for my kidneys' sake. (The Tylenol with codeine I took this morning, however, is not sitting well on the tum. Shifting to ibuprofen this afternoon.)

The discomfort is such a low-level dull pain that I am embarrassed even to mention it. Still, it is very distracting and ever-present.

it IS hard to distance a pain that's IN the mouth...hoping for a quick return to ease, no twinges...

Pain in my extremities I can somewhat distance myself from -- in my head not so much.

Be better. Be healed
