I served as a volunteer in the office and a counselor for his crusade in Fresno, California, when I was sixteen. For all the ways I came to differ with Billy Graham in theology and approach, I have always respected him for his sincerity and financial transparency. His son is an asshat.]

Makes me sick - and furious!
The whole thing, all of it ginned up by that damned Geller woman and played like an anthem on the mighty right-wing Wurlitzer, makes me livid AND despairing. The magniturde of pathetic stupidity and raw bigotry are just stunning.
Ummmmm.... where I was brought up, Billy Graham was always suspect.... I think his spawn resembles his father in many ways.... just sayin'.

We had a Billy Graham campaign in Okinawa back in the mid 1960's, but ol' Billy was sick (how can God's Anointed be sick?) so he wasn't there. We all attended anyway, and George Beverly Shea sang, so I must be one of the elect.
