I Like it.

Thanks, Diane. At least I can pray this one and mean it and believe it.

Amen, darlin'.

Paul, what else can I say but AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!

I replaced the original prayer with your prayer, Paul, giving you credit, of course. It suits me better than the other.

Amen, Amen.

Praise God for bloggers like you, Paul, who bring Holy Common Sense and the Christ-Light onto the web.

I have only just found your site, but here, already, find signs of the Love, Reason and Passion to which I'm sure the earliest disciples were responding.

Thank you.I shall be by again. g x

Thank you, chickpea. Right now I just feel tired, sad, and cranky - and grateful that even so God can make of me a channel of grace. God is faithful when I am not up to the task.

You are most welcome here.

I suspect, Paul, that God can(does) make best use of us when we dare recognize we are NOT up to the task.

(Your Namesake had to learn that the hard way).

Tired, Sad and Cranky. What a party you're having. Hope Sleep, Joy and Sunshine join you soon. gx

Apologies if this is a repeat - my eejit is currently enabled......

Absolutely, chickpea! I have always counted on grace and known that "it is not about me." This is great comfort.

Lambeth 2008 will come to an end and I spend this weekend at home, so much to look forward to.
