Well his father was Kenyan and they said he was born in Hawaii, but I haven't seen any birth certificate. You have to be born in America to be president.
--Sen. Richard Shelby, Alabama, on Obama
Hey, Senator Rocks-for-Brains, the certificate is out there. Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I'm assuming you DO know Hawaii is part of the United States. And did you have any questions about your colleague John McCain who was born in Panamá yet is considered a U. S. citizen?
It's scary that Republicans tell so many damned lies they wind up believing them.

Pray for me, Paul, and all of us here in Alabama. He is one of our Senators and Jeff Sessions is the other!
My friend Wayne who was a Presidential Elector for the state of NC this year got wacko mail and phone calls for WEEKS about this birth certificate issue. Unbelievable. It just went on and on and on. I have a whole set of letters from Wayne about all this. Why is it still going on? 1) It's all lies. 2) People are ignorant (as you note about Hawaii). 3) Don't they have anything better to do with their time? And energy?
They're desperate people. You should hear what I have to listen to around here, about Obama's failed presidency after one month in office. Where were the blabber mouths during the 8 years of the Bush nightmare?
Prayers for Boocat and all the people of Alabama. May reason prevail.
sadly, one of my uncles is one of the birth certificate doubters.
We have a lot of political (and religious) variety in my famiy.
