Well, perhaps that's not an exact analogy.
I just returned from my colonoscopy. The report says, and I quote: "Colon of a teen-ager." No polyps, nothing needing biopsy. Don't need to screen for another ten years.
Nice to know some part of me is in excellent health. I really did not expect any problems, but it is nice to hear excellent news confirmed.

Paul, I knew that you were a case of arrested development. I just knew it!
Seriously, congratulations on your younger-than-springtime colon. I am so happy for you.
Guilty as charged, Grandmère. If I ever start acting my age, let me know so I can stop it immediately.
this is great news Mr. Younger than Springtime

Hey - you and I had colonoscopies scheduled for the same day!! But I canceled mine and am rescheduling for after the end of the academic year. :-)
Congrats on the clean colon. Celebrate.
Jane, may yours bring nothing but good news!
Great, Paul. I always worry when I have to get one, but so far, clean as a whistle since 2004.
Whenever I feel afraid, I whistle a happy tune....
