Straight to the frigid realm of Lake Cocytus

The United States Senate has produced enough bullshit in 2009 to fertilize crops across the nation for the next several decades.

Wouldn't it be refreshing if they just admitted that they all work for the health insurance companies? We the People have never mattered in their calculus. We kid ourselves if we think otherwise.

I am not too happy with Article I. Section 3 of the Constitution tonight. Which is to say: emotionally I want to jettison the Senate altogether. Now that's an emotional response, not a reasoned argument, but I think y'all can see where my gut is coming from right now.

Put another way, I feel about Lieberman, Snowe, Baucus, Reid, and the Rahmster right now the way I feel about "Jingle Bell Rock" (which I had to listen to three thousand times today at work). Toss them in Lucifer's mouth in lowest ring of the Inferno with Judas, Brutus, and Cassius.

Oh, wait, those three betrayed their benefactors. The Senators have served theirs very well. They just have not served the American People.

Ship them to hell anyway.

My theology is better than this. Politically, however, I am eager to see these people voted out (in Rahm's case, fired).

And no latkes for Lieberman this year!

This word was on my post for Bishop Marc's prayer.I could not leave it there. This is what I wanted to say.

The word is "twitypo."
I will not make a sentence with it, but I think the sentence should contain Lieberman.

The word here is "slyzed." It might fit in nicely with the sentence containing 'twitypo' and 'Lieberman.'

Paul, I try very hard not to get into name-calling on my blog, but I committed name-calling today. I called Lieberman a sack of shit. Well, I said if I was into name-calling, that's what I would call him. Which is the same thing.

I expect that the Democrats will lose badly in the mid-term elections, and they deserve to lose.

Alas, Mimi, that is exactly what he is. I can think of several other epithets as well. Horrid, horrid person. Sanctimonious insurance whore is one.

I'm getting appeals from Obama's and Reid's people for money to help pass the crap bill. They are nuts. At this point, I don't care if the bill passes or not. Rahm and certain of the Dems in Congress must think we're a bunch of schmucks, that we'll accept anything from them just because of the Dem label. They should think again.

If they'll yank the mandate, then I could support it - very lackadaisically. Otherwise, I oppose it, period.

And a single red cent to support this watered-down crap? Not on your life. If you won't stand up for us, we're not about to stand up for you. Sheesh.

"Corporate Whore" pops into mind when I see that jerk's lying face. I may never live to forgive that man for making me hate a fellow child of God.

I wonder which is the more disgusting institution: your Senate or ours. At least your venal and disgusting hacks and flacks are elected.
