This is a bronze statue in the Albuquerque International Sunport. I have been impressed by it for years and realized today that I was right there with a camera in my briefcase.The artist is Lincoln Fox and the work is titled "Dream of Flight."
I am sorry these photos do not balance exposure to show detail better.

Loved your photos of the statue in our airport...I've admired that for some time. The spirituality of it, the hope and the promise...very nice...
To this I add that on every visit to ABQ I found this statue striking. It is amazing to see such a looming figure juts out on one leg that seems incapable of supporting the whole sculpture. The native figure and the eagle are moving. I am glad I grabbed a pic when the idea occurred to me.
Addendum: Tunkasila Wanbli (Grandfather Eagle) seems to bless the airport, at least in my imaginations.
A reminder of the many, many, many visits I made to ABQ, a city that has a piece of my heart there.
