... who said Albuquerque is all about the horizon.
Whoever said it, I believe it is true. Here are shots from my walk today (some of them stitched together from four photographs, the first three cropped from single shots). You may click on the photos to enlarge them and see more details.
A blessed vernal equinox to you all.

Paul, these are spectacular -- including the one with the power lines, which moves me.
Spectacular!
Thank-you sweet brother
I love the horizon, the clouds, the sunsets,
It was me - and I am a bit weepy seeing these. Albuquerque and New Mexico in general is a place that really speaks to my heart.
Thanks for posting them - the endless sky always speaks of hope to me. I have seen it so many times there... blue skies, cloudy skies, stormy skies, enormous skies and a horizon that always urges me along to keep on hoping.
I feel a bit of an ache, wanting to come visit.
Ach, Franneleh, I look forward to the day when you can visit.
As you know, the sky is constantly changing, as is the view of the Sandias: every moment different. I never tire of it. I also realize that some day the vistas here will be hidden by housing but for now a side benefit of the drop in housing value is that construction has dwindled and it will be a while before these fields vanish.
Stunning. Thank you!
Wow! Just look at those clouds. These are really great, Paul.
I simply did not experience expanses of sky like this in California, at least not on a regular basis. Glad y'all are enjoying the photos.
Beautiful and inspiring. Ironically, for me Fresno is this big sky when I get to see it. But then I live in Manhattan. Maybe some skies are too empty for me sometimes. NYC has incredible sunsets and beautiful purple skies; just not that visible all the time
The Crest is such an imposing presence - I'd love to spend a Spring exploring it with a camera.
Beautiful shots, Paul - wonderful panoramas!
It would be awesome if you could. I have seen how you love desert climes and their stark, subtle beauty. With adequate advance notice there is a guest room here.
