So, whatever happened to prince blogging?

I realize that I have been letting my fans down by not maintaining that regular Friday feature, our end-of-the-work-week steam valve by which we escape political correctness and indulge in silliness around the allegedly noble and occasionally hot men of privilege. Yes, the fan mail has pointed out the absence of this hebdomadal item.

My chum Kathy did her part this Friday by e-mailing me a CNN blurb based on Forbes magazine's list of the top hot royals. Here's the top twenty list:

RAVISHING ROYALS

01. Prince William (Britain)
02. Prince Harry (Britain)
03. Zara Phillips (Britain)
04. Princess Beatrice (Britain)
05. Charlotte Casiraghi (Monaco)
06. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum (Dubai)
07. Princess Victoria (Sweden)
08. Prince Azim (Brunei)
09. Prince Carl Philip (Sweden)
10. Andrea Casiraghi (Monaco)
11. Prince Albert von Thurn und Taxis (Germany)

17. Sheikha Maitha bint Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum (United Arab Emirates)
18. Princess Iman bint Al Hussein (Jordan)

Got faves of your own?

Perhaps I will have a prince post soon.

I thought he was FORMERLY known as a prince.

And what about the princes of the church: Clumber, Airdale, and Rowan?

As to the latter question first: I think the canine contingent has definitely elevated the ecclesiastical principate, though I generally find princes of the church, well, not as much fun.

I have not checked the full history of a musician I never listened to but I believe he returned to his earlier name after his insufferably silly "artist formerly known as prince" phase.

I will stick to usually hunky aristocrats, even though I don't believe in aristocracy.
