The area photographed in this post from June 7 has been cleared now. The four photos immediately above are from two weeks ago showing the cleared stretch where once there were homes.Let us remember those who once lived there (and in other parts of New Orleans and environs) who lost their homes - and some their lives - along with those in exile and those who rebuild their homes and their lives.
