Jon Stewart exposes Wall Street and CNBC

We have some entertaining and educational viewing for you. Stewart and crew go for the jugular. Enjoy.

h/t to Al Rodgers for the clips and to Edgewater Joe for bringing last night's show to my attention.

All Fraudsters :-(

But I like this fella' Brilliance, Passion, Wit - and a Moral sense.

What more could one wish for?

Göran, if this is your first acquaintance with Jon Stewart I am pleased to introduce you. The Daily Show is our comedy news hour, taking current news and spoofing it. In the process, they actually tell more substantial news than almost any cable or network news show. Viewers of TDS have been shown in polls to be more aware of the news than watchers of "real" news. Jon does interviews in each show and though, like everywhere else, it's usually someone pushing a book or a movie or a campaign, he gets the real "stars" and he usually asks harder questions than the "real" journalists.

Paul, you and Jon Stewart are brilliant! My son swears by CNBC. I'm sending him the link to this show. Maybe when reality hits him in the face via Jon Stewart, he will take in that these folks don't know WTF they're talking about. Thank you.

And you got a link from my friend Oyster! You know, I'll wager that quite a few of my readers laughed at Oyster's post about defective flushable wipes and "rhoid rage", but you were the only one brave enough to comment, except for Lapin, who was, as you may have noted, shocked at my lack of "compassion and propriety" for thinking the post was funny at all. You know me better than to be shocked, right?

Mimi, I suspect one reason we enjoy each other is neither of us shocks easily (though we can get indignant easily, but that is another matter and one usually linked to justice).

I really do feel sorry for Oyster (but doing it twice?).

Yes. Over the top, (or bottom) surely.

O, I saw him (and Rachel something) during the elections this autumn.

Absolutely terrific both.

That would be the brilliant, beautiful, and witty Rachel Maddow.

I loved Jon's rant on the Dow. Stewart's brilliant!

I watched it all this morning on huludotcom. I was told by my lovely son the priest about hulu last year. You can build a Queue for lots of shows, and they notify you when they are up. Daily and Colbert are the way I begin my day. I also have become a fan of Monk. The only downside to hulu is the commercial interruptions, but you get those on TV too, and I can't get what I watch on hulu on TV.
