TGIF

This is a photo I took this morning of one of the two Iceberg rose bushes. They are both in bloom and full of lovely, full, snow white blossoms.

Tomorrow there is some planting, watering, attending a friend's graduation, and catching Checkov's The Three Sisters at the Vortex. Somewhere in there should be laundry and thinking about Sunday's sermon.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Gorgeous roses.

You have a lovely weekend, too, mon cher Paul.

Thanks, Mimi. It is off to a good start. Bill came over for a garden tour last night and we dines on steak and three green As: avocado, asparagus, and artichoke. HaƤgen-Dasz bananas foster ice cream and fresh cherries for dessert. We toasted the people of Louisiana and most especially you as we consumed the ice cream.

This morning I went to my neighbor Rob's graduation. He has just earned a double master's degree. it was nice to see his wife and mother put his hood on.

Tonight Bill and I are seeing some Checkov and tomorrow I preach at San Gabriel. In between all this I am playing in the dirt.

Mmm. I loves me Chekov. Maybe one day I'll hear you preach.

I'd get all flustered with a visiting dignitary in the congregation.

*grin*

You would inspire me to new heights (or really wicked humor, or both).

I seem to have misplaced my dignitary.

Beautiful flowers, Paul
We're having church on Saturday this week as the Census takes place on Sunday and no one can leave their house until they've been counted.

Sleep in on Sunday!

Mickey, I trust you had a blessed time worshiping on the Sabbath today and really, really enjoy sleeping in on a Sunday. What a luxury.

Those are too beautiful! You're at least a month ahead of us here in Massachusetts (we just had a freeze which dealt a blow to the flowers which were out at the time.)

I managed to salvage a couple of high-altitude wildflowers on this very day, scathed by a recent freeze but holding their own. Come see if you get a chance.

Ralph, I had been by earlier tonight but not commented yet. Love the trout lily and trillium. Hang in there; you will have spring!

Today I was trimming dead and injured plant parts from our freeze two weeks ago.
