You can't make this shit up

FranIAm pointed me to a post at I can't believe it's not a democracy! Not to be read before or while eating. It's about the sacred brains of W.

I am put in mind of King George III's alleged porphyria on more levels than one.

Mandatory drug testing is probably overdone but sometimes it makes sense and here is one case where it would make a LOT of sense.

Have I mentioned that we are governed by folks who are batshit insane?

You've been warned.

I'll go there, but not before I sleep. I prefer to avoid nightmares.

Your labels crack me up.

Many years ago, I was attempting to speak Spanish and say I am afraid, Yo tengo miedo.

Instead I said, Yo tengo mierda. Lo siento!
(I have -um- excrement is what I said.)

Thanks for the linkage. Now that we have included the scatalogical, people will really start talking!

Ay, querida Fran, ¡que traviesa es tu lengua! Me parece que no debamos tener miedo porque es del diablo y no de Dios.

Sí, sé eso. A veces yo me olvido!

This does not surprise me at all. He is totally paranoid. Remember how he wanted Queen Elizabeth to refit Buckingham Palace for his visit? Remember how he ran into the British policeman on his bike? Of course, that has nothing to do with is paranoia. It's just a memory of his goofiness that came back to me.

Why wouldn't he be afraid? The world leaders should just say, "Stay the feck home! Don't come here. Please!"

Paul, how do you write so much? My little story about my trip to New Orleans took me nearly all morning to write.

Well, ma chère grandmère, unemployment does allow more writing time. But I write rather quickly and naturally. All those years of good teachers, the KJV and Shakespeare, learning about rhetoric while studying Latin and Greek, and being raises a Baptist--they help. Baptist preachers, even ex-Baptist preachers, are rarely at a loss for words.

It IS work to crank out a daily meditation, though. And I doubt the princes will show up today since I am leading a retreat tomorrow and teaching and preaching on Sunday.
