Driving to the bank this morning

I had two motives for that drive: (1) I needed cash to pay for the taxi ride to the airport; the ATM in the airport would not help me pay for the ride thither. (2) I wanted some photos of the cottonwoods turned golden yellow for y'all.

So, here are some shots from my drive to the bank. (Yes, I pulled over to the side of the road and parked the car to take them.)

In twelve days I will be home for good.
