Bush urges Congress to approve war funding before Christmas
--CNN headline
Uh, George. The House passed it. Tell your Republican chums in the Senate to quite obstructing it. Then sign it. You don't like some of the provisions about winding down the Iraq occupation. Well, TS. Cry me a river.
*In my dreams.

Paul, ya gotta quit. Ya gonna make yourself sick.
I used be just like you, but I'm in recovery now.
Mimi, Your point is well taken. This is not something I'm obsessing over. I just read the headline and spouted because it gets it out of my system. When he throws tantrums he needs to be called on it. I don't think he merits hatred but I do think scorn is an effective political tool to disempower evil.
Paul, I was teasing. Have at him.
Well, if, as I asserted above, scorn is an effective political tool, I have plenty for W. In terms of spiritual journeys, I disowned my anger for almost six decades, so claiming it feels really good. I know, from experience, that there is a graced state beyond anger--when it comes to politics I'm definitely not there yet. I have prayed for the healing of the damaged child inside W, so that's one step in the right direction.
That picture sums him up so well.
Unfortuately for us.
Love your blog.
Thanks so much, my rosy-hued sister.
