"Nothing" good? I think giggles are just fine. :-)
I'm erroneously labeled "lower class"; actually, I'm solidly alternative. I was raised lower-middle; I did the hippie thing all on my own.
What mothers don't know, can't hurt 'em. :-)
Paul, you buy lottery tickets? I suppose you know the odds.
I don't think my mother thought I was boring. I think she was a little afraid of me, because she didn't know what to make of me.
I scored as lower class (92%); that is accurate economically and is the result of my last three decades of low-paying occupations and my precarious economic status. But my next two were alternative and upper-middle, same score for both (50%) and that's accurate too, since I am privileged by virtue of my education and social connections.
In other words, the silly quiz did a not too bad job at identifying my hybrid life.
Giggles are always good, no matter how often they get frowned upon.
No, I don't buy lottery tickets, but it's tempting. I consider it a tax on desperation and unawareness.
I am sure GM was never boring.
When I was single and living in West Hollywood, my mother bought me some gay sheets (by which she meant colorful... I think) because I was so dull. Go figure.
I scored 71% alternative and 58% lower class, which is not too bad a guess, considering my upbringing and background (decidedly alternative) and present income and domicile (decidedly lower-class.
My poor mother was constantly worried I might exhibit paternal genes, and become boring. She looked out for telltale signs the way some mothers look out for signs of substance abuse. Were she alive to take this quiz, I reckon she'd score 80% alternative, 20% lower class, and 0% on everyting else... I do miss her.
MikeF, I am sure your mother rejoices in heaven in the knowledge that you did not turn out boring. Hallelujah!
