That Kaeton Woman made me do it!

Your host has been elfinized.

You were warned.

[Oh, Miss Kirstin, I don't what made me do such a terrible thing!]

[catches breath]

[looks for words]

[for ten minutes]

Oh. My. Freaking. God.

Elizabeth is one powerful Evil Lesbian Priestess.

Wow.

That... you... amazing.

Beyond-the-pale something, my friend, but I am not sure what.

But I love it. In the most twisted way imaginable.

[laughs some more]

Oh my... you have rendered me speechless, but in quite a different way than usual!!

I don't know why I can't see these on my computer! (either at home or at church!) all I see is kind of a bluish white space:(

someday, I'm going to figure out what these guys do...

Okay, you did give fair warning. But that was really disturbing. :-)

Scott, if you want to see something truly disturbing, check out the Dance Party version.

Your vestments are great! But are they the right color? ;-)

Paul said...

susan s., we must recall that neither the canons nor the BCP say a word about liturgical colors beyond the white of the fair linen. I suspect the popularity of the predominant Baroque Roman Catholic tradition, mildly altered through Vatican II, is more due to the efforts of vestment-making companies who encourage us to have everything all the way to rose for two days a year.

I'm all for expanding the non-binding traditions in this area.

And yes, this pompous reply is totally out of proportion to your great tease. To which I say, finally, touché!

I look better in Advent blue or deep violet anyway. Green is not my best color.

"Ordinary," you ain't.

:-)

Paul said...

I eschew the phrase "Ordinary Time," an heretical aberration of the Italian Church. There can be no "ordinary" time in Christ. We live in the Resurrection, which is anything but ordinary.

As St Seraphim of Sarov said to all who came to him, "Oh, my joy, Christ has risen!" [Thanks, Tom Schultz]

[grin]

Well taken.

(I'm still recovering, by the way.)

susan s. said...

Pompous? Please. I learn so much from such replies :-)

Kirstin said...

Susan, just picture him pontificating in his elf suit. :-)

I did it! I elfinized myself, all by myself! It's not as good as yours, but here is the link.

I don't know how to make it be under just word, but it works, I think.

Kirstin said...

Susan, you weren't half so pale when I met you! That's a very good Christmas Ghoul.

Here's how you make links:

< a href="http://www.whatever.com" > text you want seen < /a >

No spaces between the brackets and everything else, though.

susan s. said...

Well, the black&white was the only way I could actually make it sharp enough. Sorry.....

Paul said...

I thought it was lovely, Susan. A touch more rouge, perhaps. LOL

A collective unwinding and mass silliness can only be a gift of the Spirit.

There, Kirstin, that's as close as you're likely to get to me saying anything nice about kitsch. I still can't believe I did it.

Kirstin said...

I can't either--but I'm damn glad you did, LOL.

You (and sundry friends) gave me a lot of laughs today. Thank you.
