Wow. The light makes the sky look like it's roiling.
One sunrise at the Ranch, I wish I'd taken a picture. The fog sat low over the river, and the sky was clear and beautiful above it. The sun turned the top of the fog pink.
This is gorgeous...Is that little light in the center, near the bottom of the picture really a light? At first I thought there was something on my screen. )
Beautiful. Goes well with your friend's comment on your trying to fit into spaces too small for you: here is a vast, expansive, welcoming space, and there you are in it! May it be so inwardly for you as well, and in your community and vocational life.
Susan S., yes. If you click on the photo to enlarge you will see several lights in the early morning scattered across the valley between me (on the rise leading to the west mesa) and the mountains in the east.
Jane R., interesting observation; thanks for making a link that had not occurred to me. There is more room on my inside too. Thanks. Always a process, a journey, a goal to pursue.

As one who spent decades stuffing down his opinions and emotions, I am inclined to cut loose here, which I believe is healthy, honest, and part of the process of sanctification in the long run. Politics and spirituality mingle freely here, along with theatre reviews, photography, and passionate talk about food, literature, and the human journey. If anything written here offends you, please find other blogs to read. I am here to share, not to do battle.

It was gorgeous.
Have a blessed day today.
Your photos remind me of what a healing place New Mexico was for me and how I long to return.
Not to mention the great glory of God in nature!
