A beautiful day in Albuquerque

This is the neighborhood (actually, business park) where I work.

The Sandias
The Pan American Building at Journal Center

Walking to a training session

It burned yet it was not consumed

View from the footbridge

This is why I wanted to come home. Well, one of the reasons. I am not an urban bear. Concrete canyons are not my native environment, whether the CBD of New Orleans or the Financial District in San Francisco or the Miracle Mile in Los Angeles.

The footbridge goes over a concrete stream which only runs in rainy season, eh? When is your rainy season there?

The pictures are wonderful. I can see you there. I envy you your training session. I was a member of the Y here but the teacher of all senior water classes treats us like shit(oops another bumb up on the meter) and I ain't payin' $63 a month to be treated that way 3 times a week!!

The verification word is brizi.

Paul -- so glad you are home. But concrete canyons are relative. I will leave Albuquerque in a couple of weeks to go home to Colorado. I have been suffering from the closeness of everything here in Albuquerque. In Colorado, I look east for 15 miles to mountains with nothing in between.

I still do like Albuquerque but realize that it will take some degree of adjustment to live here full time. Much better movie access however: Everyone go see "Happy Go Lucky"

Yes, concrete canyons are relative, just as lushness and desert are relative. Glad you have that awesome vista in Colorado, susankay.

Susan S., haven't you noticed suddenly I'm bright and brizi...?

I love the context here. Training sessions are a pain in the ass. But necessary if I am going to be of any help to others. I'd rather be in Russian classes, however.
