I just heard that NM has been called for Obama!
I don't know how they do it with so few precincts reporting, but they have.

I don't know how they can call it so quickly either. The Daily Kos electronic map showed McCain ahead with only 4 precincts reporting. Probably exit polls and other indications. I felt very confident about NM by the time I flew out Sunday. Still on tenterhooks over NM-01.

I do not watch TV and have not turned it on tonight. Actually working on my novel - a pleasant thing to do. Working on geography and timing of my protagonist's first day in the parallel world. I so enjoy constructive escapism!

Paul - my DH is glued to CNN streaming online & I'm checking out the new videos on your blog. Thank you for so many wonderful posts and inspirational videos. I've been checking daily to see what's new! At this point it's looking good for Obama, but it ain't over 'til it's over.

I'm proud of the man for mounting a good campaign, maintaining the high ground, and reminding us all what integrity looks like.

Oh, yes, Earthbound Spirit, oh yes! While one side continued in the Atwater-Rove slime mode, Obama has raised the tone of US politics and shown us what a true leader of people looks like. I fear we had almost forgotten.
