Standing in the Mystery

There are so many requests I want to put out there right now, new and ongoing.

One quick new one because I need to get to bed.

My sister-in-law's sister-in-law just got news, quite unexpected, that she has advanced metastasized cancer. Prognosis: get to Paris now, or whatever you want to do. I don't even know how to spell her name but she is one of my favorite outlaws. Jeannetta.

You know what to do.

Kirstin, of course, and KJ's sister Karen and all their family, and Robyn, and so many others.

My nephew Jay's birthday was last Saturday. Tomorrow is the birthday of my cousins Bessie and Judy as well as the birthday of Shavon (and Alicia?) at the company where I am working right now - along with the feast of Dame Julian of Norwich. Saturday is the birthday of our baby sister Debbie.

Love,
--the BB

And your birthday -- may it be happy and blessed. (If this is a duplicate it's because blogger is misbehaving)

Is this the only place and way I may wish you a Happy Birthday on your blog? (Yeah, I know: what do you do? Put up a post on your site "Hey! It's my Birthday!")

Are you in New Orleans or New Mexico? Both sound like entirely pleasant places to be in Spring, unless New Orleans already seems like Summer to you!

In the Spirit of your post, may I ask for your prayers for my Fellow Vietnam Veteran and Friend, David, who entered Esophageal Reconstruction Surgery an hour ago; it's maybe eight hours plus and we're now in or approaching our Sixties and therefore harrowing, for those who learned too early about being harried.

And I have to see a lady about an apartment: see ya.

Oh, Paul! I'm so sorry about Jeanetta. Oh, dear. Prayers for her and for those who love her. Prayers for all who need healing and for those who celebrate birthdays, too.

So many.

Johnieb - it's now yet many more hours on but I join in prayer for David (and for you, friend). Thanks for the kind wishes and for adding David to the heart thread.

Back to say, Happy Birthday!

Lots of love. (And thanks again for what you said at my place.)
