There are dangers involved in voting straight Democratic ticket and they are different in the two states. Just go read about it here. Make a mistake and your vote may not count.

Paul--bless you for this link! I don't read Daily Kos very often, so I would have missed this. I have sent the link and an explanation to all my Democratic operative friends here in NC.
Cheers,
Doxy
Wow, thank you. I wonder if the campaign knows. I'll call them.
Hi Paul --this isn't about voting, but just wanted to let you know that Joel and I had lunch with Pamela of St. Cuthbert's today!!! Joel knew Pamela when she was in Franciscan orders.
Who knew that you and I have actually met --I came to St. Cuthbert's about 6 or 7 years ago, when I was looking for a field ed. site--ended up at St. Gregory of Nyssa instead... I remember your Buddha-Jesus icon.
Cheers m'dear!
Wonderful, Doxy. I hope it helps. I posted it just in case folks passing by here could use the information to their advantage.
Wow, Margaret, how cool is that? I hope our paths cross again. St Greg's is the all-time cool place but I think of St Cuddy's as St Gregory's in the East Bay.
Paul
Thanks for the link. as a Canadian, I know it's not supposed to feel like my election, but being able to pass this information to my Obama- voing sister-in-law and her kin in North Carolina felt really personal for me.
Thanks again Paul.
And that was a pretty wicked tambourine you played the other day in Elizabeth's honour.
O Happy Day on he 4th- nothing less!

Je vous en prie, David, c'est un grand plaisir informer mes amis.
Thanks for rocking the place for TELP.
Ooh, I know Pamela too. We had the same hairdresser in Oakland, that is a bond! (We also knew we had the churchy connection, but you know women and their hairdressers.)
Thanks Paul. I'm voting Wednesday in Austin.
Rock the vote, Lindy! And give Rowan a belly rub for me.
