Remember my endless tirades around FISA?

Well, this is one reason (and there are others) why I stand by my homeboy Martin Heinrich running for NM-01 as a proud Democrat. (I've also forked over a chunk of change to help him fight against Darren White and the other Repugnican weasels White represents. I am not home to do legwork but I do what I can.)

Yours for a BLUE NEW MEXICO!

btw, NM is a thinly populated state. We are scattered far and wide in many senses. It takes a lot of effort and money to reach out to everyone. If anyone wants to help us turn the state a solid blue, you can chip in at True Blue New Mexico ActBlue Page. Check out fbihop's post for more info on all the races. Thanks!

Excuse us for not being political for a minute, but WOOF!

Love,

+Maya and Jane

+Maya, I had no idea. Jane I knew about.

I bring this one out once in a while just to beautify the neighborhood, so to speak. It never hurts. But I'm really voting for him because of his positions.

(Oh, don't even go there, folks. On the issues!)

+Maya is one of the greatest flirts on the planet. She loooooooooooves men. She will flirt with anyone who walks in the door, whatever their gender, but if there is a nice man in the room and there is a choice, she is all over him. Doesn't matter whether he is gay or straight, either.

But this is the first time I have heard her utter a "woof."

Doxy, the photo is a re-run and, if memory serves me right, Jane R noticed it the first time around. I've tried to hold it in reserve but let's face it: Martin is this Friday's prince blogging. Also married.

Let me just point out to you that my ex (the first one...sigh, ouch) was married too. Didn't stop him from having fun with half the male population of Nashville... ;-)

Doxy, I realized after I typed that and hit publish that it was the wrong thing to say. I only meant that since I try not to be a homewrecker I am going to behave with respect to our future Congressman from NM-01 and I cannot really hook him up with any of my lady friends.

Happily, you have a fine fella these days (and I am so glad about that).

Jane and I can keep looking.
