The Global Center

"The Global Center" is a term in contemporary Anglican power struggles (I almost wrote "politics" but let's call it what it is) but I am using it today in a geographic sense. Hoy hubo un visitatante desde Ecuador. ¡Bienvenido a este sitio! Today we had a visitor from Ecuador. Welcome to this site!

Caminante was in Ecuador along with other members of the Executive Council not so long ago and wrote about it here and here.

Here comes your holiday of the mind, courtesy of the Ministry of Tourism:

Here is a short (stills with music) on the city of Cuenca with its Spanish colonial architecture and contemporary mixed cultural life:

Street musicians in Quito:

Andina Mandolin Music:

Carlos Bonilla Chavez - Ecuadorian Classical Guitarist
Cantares del Alma (Songs of the Soul)

Enjoy!
