I'd like to do more of these things as well. Glad you did this!
And I don't like caviar either!!!
Am I weird because I like caviar? I didn't for about the first thirty years of my life. (Or at least the part of my life from when I first tasted it till I was thirty - so maybe I was 24 or 25.) Now I like it. Go figure.
But it's not exactly something I eat every day or even something I have ever bought for myself!
P.S. Does this mean you don't like ikura (salmon roe) sushi?
I have never been stung by a bee. I am so proud of that considering I play with bees because I love them and they fascinate me.
That snippet was brought to you by the British Freedom of (too much) Information Act.
I can't think of any reason why people shouldn't like caviar. I don't like anything fishy, period. So caviar is out of the question for me. But that's no reason why others should not enjoy it.
Oh, Good Lord, Jane, I was having a wee bite for supper and you mentioned sushi. See comment above. I don't even like California rolls because of the seaweed. No, I don't do sushi of any kind. More power to those who do.
DP - why I find you Brits charming.
You & Fran come up with the best memes... I played at my blog - and now other UU bloggers are following suit. Gee, for a faith that adamantly declares they are not sheep we can sure act like it!
(P.S. I hate the seaweed in sushi, too.)
I don't like California rolls because they have friggin' avocado in them. PUH-LEEZE! We never had stuff like that in our sushi when I was a boy on Okinawa! Sushi is pickled rice, maybe some egg, daikon, some fish, all wrapped in nori. I don't like that free-form improve sushi.
I do like fishy-tasting stuff, 'cuz I ate like a Japanese person for ten years of my life, but I can take or leave caviar.
