I just wonder how many of the white, mainly middle-class, straight women in the audience really got that. I've been surprised and thankful to see the depths at which some of our allies are beginning to speak out and actually understand what they are saying. (Just go over to MP's!) But, I think they are in the very small minority. Good on Ellen! Oprah, Jay, and Dave should take note!
