Holding each other in the Light

We have some requests today from folks in the Episcopal Diocese of San Joaquin. These fine people have suffered two decades of spiritual abuse and difficult and painful decisions are being made. Let's uphold them (and pray for the upcoming Special Convention on March 29).

Aghaveagh informs us of the following:
Today there is a meeting up in Oakhurst (in the foothills) of their faithful Episcopalians of Christ Church. They need your prayers and support. Pray also for safe travel for Father Keith and those traveling with him up to Oakhurst

Also, there is a key vote tomorrow at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Visalia on whether to follow the Bishop or stay with the Episcopal Diocese of San Joaquin. Please keep them in your prayers as they face this difficult and (no matter how it ends up) heart-wrenching decision.

Of course, folks mentioned in earlier posts here and elsewhere don't stop needing prayer when they drop out of the headlines (even when we don't have updates).

I want to give thanks that Mimi's back blogging (and johnieb has posted after a hiatus as well).

O burning mountain, O chosen sun,
O perfect moon, O fathomless well,
O unattainable height, O clearness beyond measure,
O wisdom without end, O mercy without limit,
O strength beyond resistance, O crown of all majesty,
The humblest being you created sings your praises.
